Week 5 QB Depth Charts & Injuries Tracker
Keep in mind, not every team releases a depth chart or an injury report, but the depth charts reflect whatever the team releases during the week. I’ll add a few notes to provide more context to any QB injury or depth chart question, and this post is updated throughout the week. The Big Ten requires an “availability report” be released two hours before game time that shows injury questions. Other than that, there is no consequence for teams to mislead on depth charts and injuries to potentially gain an advantage.
Because of that, this will never be perfect, but I put in the time and research on this page to make sure it’s the most accurate resource for QB injury and depth chart news on the internet.

Sept. 25…Head coach Kevin Wilson said Braxton has been able to do more in practice, but playing on a short week makes it tougher for him to return after missing three games with an ankle injury. Sept. 23…Williams played every snap, and Wilson was not asked about whether Braxton will be available this week after the game.

NOTES: Sept. 27…Smothers and Webb are listed as co-starters on this week’s depth chart. Sept. 25…Head coach Rich Rodriguez said good things about Smothers but was not asked about the starting QB spot. Sept. 23…Smothers played every snap for the first time this season, and Rodriguez said there was no reason to put Webb in the game with how Smothers was playing. Rodriguez did not say whether he wants to stick with one quarterback moving forward.
