COLLEGE FOOTBALL QB REPORT
Quarterback Central | Teams | Players
Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said the medical staff will decide on Thursday whether starting QB Cam Rising (Stats) will make his season debut after being a full participant in practice. He missed the first three games recovering from a torn ACL, and Nate Johnson (Stats) would get his second straight start on Saturday against UCLA if Rising is out again.
Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule said QB Jeff Sims (Stats) is not fully ready to run. Earlier in the day, offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield said Tuesday the most active Sims has been since his ankle injury that forced him to miss Week 3 and received 50% of snaps in practice. Rhule has not revealed whether Sims or Heinrich Haarberg (Stats) would start on Saturday against Louisiana Tech if both are healthy.
Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz said starting QB Brady Cook (Stats) hyperextended his knee and will not practice Tuesday. Cook played through this issue last week after sustaining the injury in the second quarter and was limited in the running game. Drinkwitz added there is no ligament damage after undergoing an MRI. Sam Horn (Stats) would get the start on Saturday against Memphis if Cook is unavailable.

Week 4 College Football QB Depth Charts & Injury Reports
Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham said QB Drew Pyne (Stats) worked with the ones and Jacob Conover (Stats) with the twos during practice this week. He said Pyne probably will play on Saturday against USC despite leaving last week’s game with a muscular injury that was not the hamstring issue he dealt with during training camp. Jaden Rashada (Stats) is expected to be out at least a month, and Trenton Bourguet (Stats) doubtful with a lower leg injury.
