Before we get into a ton of upcoming visits for some of the top quarterback prospects in the country, there seems to be a good chance the recruiting calendar will be making some adjustments soon. According to The Athletic’s Nicole Auerbach, advanced discussions have been made to move the December signing period to the Wednesday before conference championships, and the period will last either three or seven days.
Essentially, this is being done so the transfer portal and the Early Signing Period will no longer overlap. There has also been discussion to add a third signing period during the summer.
The introduction of the Early Signing Period a few years ago saw a major shift in when the top prospects sign, but I’m not sure signing a National Letter of Intent means a ton anymore with the way things are headed. It’s increasingly more likely the idea of unlimited transfers will become permanent, so whether you sign in August, December or February will become fairly meaningless.
Anyways, here’s a look at quarterback recruiting and transfer portal news to send you into the weekend.

Julian Lewis
USC 2025 4-star QB commit Julian Lewis (GA) will visit Alabama (March 8), Georgia (March 14), Auburn (March 16), Colorado (March 22) and the Trojans (March 30), he told On3’s Chad Simmons. He committed to USC last August before reclassifying from 2026 but has been busy with visits since the start of the New Year. None of the other programs mentioned have a quarterback committed in the class but are real threats as the Trojans have a long way to go in holding on to him.
Jayden de Laura
Arizona transfer QB Jayden de Laura (stats) will enter the NFL Draft despite a year of eligibility remaining. He lost his starting spot to Noah Fifita (stats) in the fall and briefly committed to Texas State before campus backlash from a 2018 incident (read more about it here) led to de Laura withdrawing from the Bobcats.
Antwann Hill Jr.
2025 4-star QB Antwann Hill Jr. (GA) plans to commit this summer, 247Sports’ Brandon Huffman reported. The former Colorado commit is looking at Florida, Florida State, Texas A&M and Duke closely with Ole Miss, Georgia Tech and the Buffaloes still being mentioned in his recruitment. It’s unclear who will get visits from Hill this spring, but the Gators are likely the frontrunners at this point.
