2024 4-star QB Michael Van Buren releases commitment date
SCOOP: Michael Van Buren
Michael Van Buren (MD) originally set a summer commitment date for July 8 but rescheduled for this Saturday, May 20. His top three remains the same with in-state Maryland, along with Penn State and Oregon. The Ducks appear to be the favorite to land another quarterback to their 2024 recruiting class after 3-star Luke Moga (AZ) committed last month.

Minnesota adds commitment from 2024 3-star Drake Lindsey
SCOOP: Drake Lindsey
Drake Lindsey (AR) visited Minnesota over the weekend when he made his commitment as the Gophers locked down a 2024 quarterback. Minnesota lost Aaron Philo, who since committed to Georgia Tech, and quickly offered Lindsey last month for his first Power 5 offer. That was followed by recent offers from South Alabama and Tulsa.

2025 4-star QB Cutter Boley releases top 5, commitment date
SCOOPS: Cutter Boley | Cutter Boley
Cutter Boley (KY) narrowed down his list of five schools to Penn State, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee and Florida State, leaving off Alabama, Oregon, Notre Dame, TCU and Miami from his top 10 from Friday. The announcement is expected to come this Thursday, May 18 at 11 a.m. (probably ET). All signs are pointing toward the Wildcats landing an in-state QB prospect this week.

Stanford adds Syracuse transfer QB Justin Lamson
SCOOP: Justin Lamson
Justin Lamson (Stats) will join a Stanford quarterback competition that’s very limited in experience with Ari Patu (Stats) and Ashton Daniels (Stats). Lamson had an impressive spring with Syracuse in 2022 but missed the entire season with a knee injury. He didn’t play a snap over two years with the Orange with three years of eligibility remaining.
