Kentucky lands in-state 4-star QB Cutter Boley
SCOOP: Cutter Boley
This had been the expected outcome heading into today’s announcement, but the surprise came with Cutter Boley reclassifying from the 2025 recruiting class to 2024. Kentucky didn’t sign a 2023 quarterback and didn’t have a 2024 QB committed before landing Boley as an in-state prospect. The other schools in his top five included Penn State, Michigan, Tennessee and Florida State.
Virginia Tech transfer QB Tahj Bullock lands at Akron
SCOOP: Tahj Bullock
Tahj Bullock (Stats) landed a ton of FCS attention when he entered the transfer portal last month but is staying at the FBS level with Akron. Bullock spent two seasons at Virginia Tech with three years of eligibility remaining. He’ll join a Zips quarterback room that has DJ Irons (Stats) and Jeff Undercuffler Jr. (Stats) as the top two on the depth chart.
Baylor adds 2024 3-star QB Nate Bennett
SCOOP: Nate Bennett
Nate Bennett (CA) announced an offer from Baylor last night and a commitment this morning. Bennett visited the Bears last month, along with a recent trip to see Utah State as Baylor lands its quarterback for the 2024 class. The Bears didn’t sign a 2023 quarterback after a late flip from Austin Novosad (Stats) to Oregon.
