Before we get into today’s update, some news broke before hitting publish. The two recruiting signing periods are now in early December and early February with talks of adding a third signing period in June. According to Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, there’s not enough support for a June signing period at this point. I still don’t know why signing days matter anymore with unlimited transfers, but I thought I’d share this update.

1️⃣ 4⭐ Brady Hart (FL) committed to Michigan on Tuesday over Ohio State, LSU, Clemson, Penn State and Miami. He held nearly 30 offers before the Wolverines offered on his visit over the weekend, and the Buckeyes sent Hart the day before his commitment. His dad Alex called this a “perfect cultural fit.”

2️⃣ 4⭐ Jaden O’Neal (CA) will commit within the next week after releasing a top 10 yesterday. His finalists include Ohio State, Florida State, Auburn, Colorado, Oklahoma, Penn State, Miami, Oregon, Washington and Arizona State. O’Neal’s most recent offer came from the Buckeyes following their camp on Monday.

3️⃣ 5⭐ Faizon Brandon (NC) is in communication with Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Tennessee, Penn State and NC State the most. Brandon saw the Wolfpack on Wednesday with a weekend visit to see the Crimson Tide starting today through Sunday. The only other trip on the schedule is Penn State the weekend of July 27 with plans to commit sometime next spring. Keep an eye on a top 10 coming at the end of July.
