Austin Simmons commits to Ole Miss, reclassifies two years

Ole Miss had 4-star Austin Simmons (FL) on campus earlier this month, and the Rebels have been able to flip him from in-state Florida. The craziest news from this announcement is that he’s reclassifying from the 2025 recruiting class all the way to 2023. Yes, he will be on the Rebels’ roster this fall and will be 17 when the season starts. Not only that, but he’ll be on the Ole Miss baseball team.

Clemson lands 2025 blue chip QB Blake Hebert

Blake Hebert (MA) let me know of his commitment date and surprised nobody by selecting Clemson on Friday morning. The Tigers are fairly tight in who they offer, and the 2025 4-star quarterback picked up a Clemson offer earlier this month. The Tigers are still without a quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class, but they have plenty of time to flip somebody between now and the Early Signing Period in December.

Missouri lands Aidan Glover commitment

Less than a month after 2024 3-star Daniel Kaelin (NE) decommitted from Missouri to in-state Nebraska, the Tigers have a new quarterback. Aidan Glover (TN) is a 2024 3-star QB and told me he’d be visiting Missouri over the previous weekend and committed late last week. Trever Jackson told me he planned to see the Tigers this upcoming weekend but since tweeted he’ll no longer be taking his official visit to Missouri.

Bowling Green adds Purdue transfer QB Hayden Timosciek
