MY TOP THREE
Malik Washington
2025 4⭐ Malik Washington (MD) will take official visits to Virginia Tech (Friday-Sunday), UCF (May 31-June 1), Syracuse (June 7-9), Maryland (June 21-23) and Colorado (TBA). Washington’s top six from January included Penn State, Oregon, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Syracuse, and he told me UCF has been added to that list. He will most likely not schedule an official visit to Penn State, though the Nittany Lions are still being considered. Washington is looking for a late June/early July commitment.
Grady Adamson
Georgia Tech received a commitment from 2025 3⭐ Grady Adamson (OK) over a group of finalists that included BYU, USF, Boston College and Tulsa. The Yellow Jackets were his most recent offer, which he announced less than two weeks before locking in a commitment.
“The development and experienced coaches I get to learn from on a daily basis is what made it the for sure spot for me.” - Grady Adamson
Jaden O’Neal
Oregon is looking to get 2026 4⭐ Jaden O’Neal (CA) on campus after a Washington visit (April 26-28), and the Ducks are starting to show significant interest after re-offering a few weeks ago. O’Neal saw Oklahoma on Monday with upcoming trips to Arizona State (April 19) and Arizona (April 20). His QB trainer Ortege Jenkins told me O’Neal’s second round of visits include Alabama, Texas, Michigan State, Florida State, Oklahoma, Miami, Colorado and Michigan State in June.
RECRUITING REPORT
Dan Mahan
2025 3⭐ Dan Mahan (NC) is mainly in contact with Duke and Wake Forest after decommitting from Appalachian State on Monday. He quickly announced a Demon Deacons offer after reopening his recruitment and was offered by the Blue Devils in January. Mahan told me he might visit Wake Forest on Thursday but is planning to commit somewhere by the end of the week. He cited his interest for playing in a power conference as the reason for decommitting. The Mountaineers responded by offering 2025 3⭐ Noah Gillon (MS) this afternoon.
