South Carolina 2026 4⭐ QB commit Landon Duckworth (AL) told me he’s been contacted by Texas A&M, UCF and West Virginia the most recently. The only committed quarterback in the class announced his commitment to the Gamecocks in August with plenty of other programs looking for a flip. Duckworth will make a return visit to South Carolina on April 20.
2026 5⭐ QB Brady Smigiel (CA) told me he has visits lined up with Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and possibly Clemson from June 16-23. This is in addition to spring trips to see Florida (March 28), Miami (March 31) and Florida State (April 6). Smigiel is one of two quarterbacks in the class rated as a 5-star by one of the three major recruiting ranking sites and does not have a projected timeline for when he’d like to commit.
2025 4⭐ QB Matt Zollers (PA) told me he’s visiting Missouri today, followed by Pitt (March 28), Penn State (March 29) and Georgia (April 2). These programs cracked his top four, and he plans to commit shortly after his final visit with the Bulldogs. The Nittany Lions are the only team among this four with a QB committed in the class with 4⭐ Bekkem Kritza (CO), but they would certainly make this a two-quarterback class.
2025 3⭐ QB Bjorn Jurgensen (FL) told me he’ll take an official visit to Florida Atlantic (June 7-9) and is in the process of scheduling additional trips. This is in addition to Coastal Carolina, Western Kentucky and Temple visits at the end of this month, followed by FAU (April 2), Liberty (April 19), James Madison (April 20) and Appalachian State (April 27). Jurgensen remains in contact almost daily with the teams that offered, which includes Appalachian State, Liberty, Bowling Green, Temple, FAU, Old Dominion and Columbia. James Madison, Coastal Carolina and BYU are also in regular contact.
2025 3⭐ QB Jaron Keawe Sagapolutele (HI) told me he’s been in contact with Colorado, Oregon State and Boise State the most recently. Sagapolutele will see the Buffaloes on March 30 with a potential trip to see UNLV the week after with an unscheduled Oregon State visit.
2025 3⭐ QB Ryan Huff (FL) credited the Old Dominion coaching staff for his commitment to the Monarchs on Monday. “I believe they have the best staff in the country right now with an offensive genius in Kevin Decker,” Huff told me. “They really made me feel at home and part of the family on my visit. I really believe I’m gonna be a great fit in this offense and I’m grateful to be apart of the program.” Huff picked up an Old Dominion offer in late January.
2027 QB DJ Mitchell (CA) will potentially add Duke, Wake Forest and Oklahoma to his busy camp schedule. Those are in addition to an Arizona camp, which will be held at Redlands University on June 6. Mitchell is coming off a freshman season where finished with an 8:1 TD-INT ratio for a playoff team.
