Duke receives crystal ball pick for 2024 3-star Tyler Cherry

Tyler Cherry (IN) received early interest from programs in the Midwest, but Duke appears to be in a strong spot at this point of his recruitment. The Blue Devils offered last month, and Cherry landed quite a few MAC offers in addition to Big Ten interest from Illinois, Indiana and Michigan State.

2025 4-star QB Bryce Underwood adds Illinois offer
SCOOP: Bryce Underwood
Bryce Underwood (MI) kept the Big Ten interest going as he revealed an Illinois offer earlier today. Underwood is coming off a weekend visit to Ohio State and before that, he made a trip to see in-state Michigan a couple weeks ago as one of the hottest names on the 2025 quarterback market.

Wyoming picks up former Iowa QB Carson May
SCOOP: Carson May
Carson May (Stats) signed with Iowa as a 2022 4-star prospect from Oklahoma and redshirted in his true freshman season with the Hawkeyes. May spent the spring semester at Coffeyville Community College and will rejoin Wyoming offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Tim Polasek, who ran the offensive line with the Hawkeyes. It’ll be interesting to see whether May will challenge returning starter Andrew Peasley (Stats), who completed 52.4% of passes in 2022.

Charlotte offers Oklahoma transfer QB Micah Bowens
SCOOP: Micah Bowens
Charlotte lost Xavier Williams (Stats) and James Foster (Stats) to the portal, and Arizona State transfer Bennett Meredith (Stats) originally committed to the 49ers before changing directions to Purdue. Regardless, Charlotte needs quarterback depth behind likely starter Jalon Jones (Stats), whose latest stop was at Bethune-Cookman. Micah Bowens (Stats) hasn’t played a snap over one season at Penn State and two at Oklahoma with three years of eligibility remaining.
