The final results of the 2023 transfer portal class isn’t quite over yet with a big name entering just before publish time on Tuesday afternoon. This is also a reminder that the portal entry deadlines do not factor in when it comes to graduate transfers.

Another starting quarterback announced his next stop on Tuesday afternoon, and we’ll continue to wait on where players like Payton Thorne (Stats), Casey Thompson (Stats), Ben Bryant (Stats) and others will land.

Auburn QB TJ Finley enters transfer portal
SCOOP: TJ Finley
TJ Finley (Stats) was on just about every “QBs who could hit the portal” article on the internet, so this was far from a surprise. He’ll graduate from Auburn this summer and enter the transfer portal with three years of eligibility remaining. Finley was in a battle with Robby Ashford (Stats) and Holden Geriner (Stats) this spring, and Ashford remains the favorite to start Week 1 with the Tigers.

Western Michigan adds Old Dominion transfer QB Hayden Wolff

Western Michigan head coach Lance Taylor said the quarterback battle will go into fall camp last month, but Hayden Wolff (Stats) should be considered the favorite to land the starting job. Wolff started 12 games for Old Dominion last season but found himself in a three-man quarterback battle this spring. He’ll join a QB room with Treyson Bourguet (Stats), Jack Salopek (Stats) and Mareyohn Hrabowski (Stats) as the top challengers.

Utah QB Luke Bottari enters transfer portal
SCOOP: Luke Bottari
Luke Bottari (Stats) spent one season at Utah after playing for College of San Mateo in California from 2019-21 where he set records in career touchdown passes. Bottari was a bit low on the Utes quarterback depth chart this spring and has two years of eligibility remaining at his next stop.

Washington State QB Luke Holcomb enters transfer portal

Luke Holcomb (Stats) joined Washington State as an in-state 2021 3-star walk-on and spent two seasons with the Cougars. Holcomb didn’t see the field over the last couple years with three years of eligibility remaining.
