Michigan lands 2024 5-star Jadyn Davis
SCOOP: Jadyn Davis
Michigan is on its way to signing two 5-star QBs over the last four seasons with Jadyn Davis (NC) set to join Wolverinesβ current starting quarterback JJ McCarthy (Stats). Davis made the announcement live on SportsCenter with Ohio State, Michigan, Clemson, North Carolina and Tennessee as the finalists. Michigan had been the frontrunner for a long time, and Davis previously said he had a close eye on Jim Harbaughβs most recent flirtation with the NFL.
Florida State receives commitment from 2025 3-star Tramell Jones Jr.
SCOOP: Tramell Jones Jr.
Quarterbacks are going off the board early in the 2025 recruiting cycle as Tramell Jones Jr. (FL) joined Kevin Sperry (Oklahoma) as the first two QB commitments in this class. Jones is unrated by two of the three recruiting sites we use, but that will change. Florida State took a commitment from 2024 4-star Luke Kromenhoek even earlier in the cycle in March 2022, so early QB commits appears to be the strategy for the Seminoles.
Ohio State hosts, offers 2024 4-star Prentiss Air Noland
SCOOP: Air Noland
The most-talked-about visit of the weekend has to be Prentiss Air Noland (GA), whose recruitment has exploded over the last few months with all the big boys going after him. Ohio State made its pitch this weekend, and Noland is still expected to make a commitment on Saturday with the Buckeyes, Alabama, Clemson, Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M and Oregon among his top seven.

Kirby Smart chats QB competition after scrimmage
SCOOP: Georgia Athletics
Kirby Smart said neither QB stuck out above the other during Georgiaβs scrimmage on Saturday as Carson Beck (Stats) and Brock Vandagriff (Stats) battle to replace Stetson Bennett (Stats). Both quarterbacks are taking first-team reps and while itβs difficult to project a starter at this point, Beck likely has a slight edge based on being named the backup last fall.
