Ohio State wins battle for 2024 4-star Air Noland
SCOOP: Air Noland
Air Noland (GA) went on a tour of the top programs in college football over the last few weeks, and Ohio State apparently made the best pitch as he committed on Saturday night. Noland chose the Buckeyes over other finalists Alabama, Clemson, Arkansas, Miami, Texas A&M and Oregon as they found their replacement for 5-star Dylan Raiola, who decommitted in December.
Oklahoma gets 2024 4-star Michael Hawkins
SCOOP: Michael Hawkins
Oklahoma and TCU were the two finalists for Michael Hawkins (TX), but the decision became even more obvious when the Horned Frogs took a commitment from Hauss Hejny days before Hawkins’ announcement date. Brent Venables kept the streak of blue-chip QB prospects going after signing 5-star Jackson Arnold (Stats) to the 2023 class.
2024 4-star KJ Jackson picks Arkansas
SCOOP: KJ Jackson
The final 4-star QB commitment of the weekend came on Sunday night when Arkansas added KJ Jackson (AL). The Razorbacks had been the favorite, though North Carolina looked to add Jackson to its 2024 recruiting class. He’s the second consecutive blue-chip quarterback prospect for the Razorbacks after landing 4-star Malachi Singleton (Stats) in 2023.

None of the quarterbacks shined in this weekend’s rainy, sloppy spring game, and Finley said he’s not sure what his plans would be if Hugh Freeze looks to the transfer portal for a starting quarterback when it opens on Saturday.
