Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei (Stats) will enter the transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. Uiagalelei started every game in his one season with the Beavers after spending three years at Clemson. The former 5-star prospect is also not ruling out declaring for the NFL Draft with one year of college football eligibility remaining. New head coach Trent Bray’s next job will be to keep Aidan Chiles (Stats) in the program after playing a regular role as a true freshman in 2023. Michigan State is down to one walk-on quarterback on its roster, and Uiagalelei joining head coach Jonathan Smith feels like a logical next step. The same could also be said about Chiles if he decides to exit. For now, look for Chiles to get his first college football start in the bowl game.
