COLLEGE FOOTBALL QB REPORT
Quarterback Central | Teams | Players
Texas A&M starting QB Conner Weigman’s (Stats) injury is worse than expected, and he could miss the rest of the season, according to Houston Chronicle’s Brent Zwerneman. This was followed up by a report that Weigman will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury, according to TexAgs’ Billy Liucci. Head coach Jimbo Fisher called Weigman day-to-day with a sprained ankle on Monday, and Max Johnson (Stats) will start on Saturday at Arkansas assuming the latest reports are true.
Nebraska offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield said QB Heinrich Haarberg (Stats) is full go with no restrictions at practice, while Jeff Sims (Stats) is not 100% heading into Saturday vs. Michigan. Haarberg started the last two games with Sims dealing with an ankle injury but did not finish Week 4’s game with cramping. The two are listed as co-starters on the depth chart this week.
Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz said starting QB Brady Cook (Stats) is questionable and limited in practice heading into Saturday at Vanderbilt. He also said he did not expect Cook to play last week but returned quicker than expected. Cook played every snap last week after briefly exiting the previous matchup with a knee injury, and Sam Horn (Stats) would get the start if Horn is out.

Week 5 College Football QB Depth Charts & Injury Reports
Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham said QB Drew Pyne (Stats) is out for the near future after another injury other than the hamstring and muscular issues he’s been dealing with. Trenton Bourguet (Stats) missed last week’s game with a lower leg injury but looked fresh in practice and will likely start at California on Saturday, according to Dillingham. True freshman Jaden Rashada (Stats) opened the season as the starting quarterback but is out the next 2-4 weeks based on the initial projected timeline.
