• Players may play up to 4 games in a season without it counting toward a year of eligibility if they have a redshirt available.

• 2020 COVID season didn’t count toward a year of eligibility.

• *Indicates redshirt is still available to use.

• **Indicates player is serving an LDS mission OR attending service academy prep school. I assume service academy players are in the prep school until they’re listed on the roster.

Injury Designation Notes

• Probable — Player suffered an injury but finished the most recent game and looked reasonably healthy.

• Questionable — Player suffered an injury in the previous game and did not return OR has yet to return from an injury that forced him to miss the most recent game.

• Out — Player is out indefinitely or will miss the rest of the season.

Next to the player names, you’ll see years of eligibility remaining heading into the 2024 season and the highest high school star rating from 247, On3 and Rivals if they had one.

Alabama Crimson Tide

Aug. 14, 2024 - Dylan Lonergan and Austin Mack are competing for the No. 3 spot, according to Tuscaloosa News’ Anna Snyder. Lonergan played one game last season, and Mack did not appear in a game with Washington. Jalen Milroe is a returning starter after taking over the role early in the 2023 season.

Arkansas Razorbacks

June 3, 2024 - True freshman KJ Jackson and Blake Boda are competing for the third-string spot, a team source told me. It’s not unrealistic for Jackson to move up to No. 2 behind Taylen Green by the time the season starts. Malachi Singleton did not see the field in 2023, and Boda played three games as a reserve with Coastal Carolina last season. Green started the first nine games with Boise State in 2023 before losing his starting spot but returned to QB1 after a season-ending injury to Maddux Madsen.

Auburn Tigers

Aug. 17, 2024 - HC Hugh Freeze said he knows in his mind where he’s headed as far as the QB depth chart, according to Auburn Wire’s Taylor Jones. Thorne is a heavy favorite to start after playing every game in 2023, and the bigger question mark is the backup spot. Holden Geriner played five games as a reserve last season, and Hank Brown made his debut in the bowl game in 2023.
